Claire & Andy Burnet who set up Chococo in late 2002, are passionate about purity, provenance & freshness. They only use origin chocolate with known provenance, they work with local Dorset food producers, including a dairy farmer near Weymouth for all their fresh cream, & where they can't go local, they use as many fairly traded ingredients as possible.

They have already won 15 fine food awards & much critical acclaim as one of the UK's leading contemporary & innovative chocolate makers.

As parents of 2 young children, they also believe that their footprint today will directly impact their children's lives. They are working hard to reduce Chococo's energy usage, recycling as much as possible, (which includes giving customers discounts for bringing their selection boxes back for refilling & giving packaging offcuts to local schools for arts & crafts), and are making Chococo as sustainable as possible, including using environmental friendly cleaning products & encouraging the staff to walk or cycle to work!
