What is CarbonZero?

A CarbonZero® product or service is one whose carbon footprint has been examined by co2balance.com and the supplier and then offset through co2balance.com’s portfolio of carbon-savings projects around the world.  Opportunities to reduce emissions associated with the product or service will be taken where appropriate. 

Products and services that have been through this process are eligible to display the CarbonZero® logo as a demonstration of the fact that their climate impact has been negated through investment in such projects. 

In some instances, a whole company and all their products and services will be CarbonZero®.  In other cases, it may apply to just a particular product, service or part of an organisation’s operations.  Where this is the case, it will be made clear.

co2balance.com undertakes regular auditing of CarbonZero® clients in order to ensure that the logo is being used appropriately.
